Develop a Girl Scout Painting Patch for Your Area Council
Maureen E. Van Herpe, a troop leader in theRhode Island Girl Scout Council, wanted to create a Girl Scout patch program for painting. After years of research, Maureen successfully created a patch program for her council. She also developed the following guide for Girl Scout leaders and painters to use as they work together to establish similar programs in their area. Teaching young people to paint is a wonderful way to continue the legacy of our art form!
