Honor Our Best with SDP Service Awards

Where would we be without special people who share their enthusiasm for decorative painting and dedication to SDP with others? If you know one of these inspiring individuals, now is the time to nominate them for an SDP Service Award. The deadline for nominations is March 15, 2009. Here's how to submit a nomination:

1). Information about the 2008 honorees will be published in Issue #4/Winter of the 2008 Decorative Painter magazine.

2). Download the form [Will open in a new window], fill it out, and submit it by the deadline.

Nominations are being accepted in four categories:

* The Silver Palette Award for noteworthy and exceptional contributions in furthering the purposes of SDP.

* The Dedicated Service Award for outstanding and dedicated service in SDP.

* The Priscilla Hauser Award for Business and Industry, given for consistent and exceptional business contributions.

* The Outstanding Chapter Service Award, given to a chapter member for outstanding and dedicated service to a chapter. Nominations may be made only by a member in good standing of SDP. Nominees should be, but need not be, members in good standing of SDP. Awards will be presented at the 2009 SDP Annual Conference in Peoria, Ill., June 16-20. Don't delay -- submit your nominations today!

Peer recognition contributes to the enjoyment of decorative painting. Please help us recognize those individuals who have made decorative painting and The Society of Decorative Painters a special place for everyone!
