How would you use an SDP Scholarship?

Scholarship recipients have used funds to stage fundraisers, study painting abroad, increase awareness of decorative painting in their community, establish youth art programs and much more. Applicants must be members in good standing of SDP. Interested? Financial assistance is available in three areas:

2012 SDP Scholarship Recipients

At the 2012 40th Annual Conference and Expo, the SDP Foundation presented four scholarships—three individual scholarships and one Chapter scholarship.

Congratulations to our 2011 SDP Scholarship recipients:

• Individual Scholarship: Martha Brown, Opelousas, La.
• Individual Scholarship: Georgia Magarrell tda, Gresham, Ore.
• Individual Scholarship: Joyce Rogers, Spearville, Kan.
• Chapter Scholarship: Southern Gardenia artists, Opelousas, La. The Chapter will be using the award to help defray the cost of a two-day seminar taught by Cheri Rol MDA, scheduled for June 16-17, 2012.
