Brenda Stewart CDA, TDA works in oils, alkyd, acrylics, and watercolor. For thirty-two years she has shared her knowledge and techniques with decorative painters by teaching many classes and seminars in the United States and other countries. She has produced a large body of work including over five hundred instructional packets and is the author of eighteen books and four videos. Brenda achieved the Certified Degree Artist designation in 1979. She became a TDA when the program was established in 2000. She has been an active member of the Society of Decorative Painters since 1975, and served on the Board of Directors for six years, as President from 1990-91. She was awarded the Silver Palette in 2006.
Brenda and her husband Robert currently operate a retail website, conduct a series of seminars in Williamsburg, Va., and exhibit at several decorative painting shows each year.
